Taste of Service-Angel Tree

Angel Tree

On Saturday, December 12, JBC partnered with Rock Church, Circle Urban Ministries, and the students of Wheaton College as participants in the Angel Tree initiative. Angel Tree is a ministry of the Prison Fellowship, an organization that ministers to prisoners and their families. As participants in this initiative, we distributed gifts to families in the Austin area who have been selected by the Prison Fellowship. This year, the gifts were donated by students from Wheaton College and the Arlington Heights EFC.

Thanksgiving Holiday Boxes of Love

Thanksgiving at JBC, we thank and praise the Lord that as a church we were able to provide 43 families with a Thanksgiving meal. These boxes of love contained a complete Thanksgiving dinner for families in need.  We asked our congregation to submit names of families, donate food items, and/or help with delivery.Boxes were delivered and distributed on Saturday, Nov. 21 from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm. Thank you to each one who participated.
